Head Coach AVA 16s Team

Coach Buck grew up in Alexandria and went to T.C. Williams High School…"Remember the Titans”. His coaching experience includes coaching volleyball and basketball at various organizations in NoVA. In basketball, Coach Buck assisted to win back-to-back championship girls in FSBL – 6th-8th grades in 2012-2014. In volleyball, he has been head coach and assistant coach at various volleyball clubs for nine (9) years.

Among his coaching accomplishments, in 2015, Coach Buck's 15s team finished 4th at the Capitol Hill Classic and in 2016, his 13s team won Gold at the Irish Rumble. During the 2018-19 season Buck was instrumental in the preparation and development of AVA 15s that finished 3rd at the AAU Mountaineer Super Regional, Open Silver Division Runner Up at the MLK Kickoff Classic, and Division Championship at the Atlantic Coast Grand Prix. The 15s team also reached the Silver Bracket at the NEQ2.

Coach Buck's formal training includes the USAV IMPACT Course, and Gold Medal Square. He is proud of his player's individual accomplishes and makes the games and practices fun.
